I found dealing with Leslie's Pool Service very frustrating. They force all customers to use a national 1-800 number to schedule appointments and to make inquiries. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and the service technician was very difficult to deal with. When I contacted them to schedule the work they had given me an estimate for I was told they would contact the store and see if the parts needed to be ordered and call me back. Two days later I still had not heard from anyone. I called again and was told that the technician had been waiting to hear from me as to whether I wanted to the work done. I told the operator that was not true because she could clearly see I had called two days ago to schedule the work. I also told her that it was impossible for me to contact the technician as I could barely read his name on the work order and was not provided a phone number. Again I was told she would call me back. A day later I was called and told that they had scheduled the service but again could not confirm in the parts needed to be ordered. Each time I spoke to and operator I was made to feel as if I had done something wrong. Time and again I asked if there was a different number I was to be called and each time was told that the 1-800 number was what I should use. When the equipment was replaced he left without telling me that there was a gas leak on the line coming up out of the ground to the spa heater. It was extremely obvious as there was a pronounced smell of gas. When I contacted them about it they simply told me the technician had checked his work and if there was gas leaking that was not their problem and I should call the gas company. I was not allowed to talk to the repair person. I was only contacted by an operator who kept informing me that she was not a technician. They were not at all concerned about the fact that there was gas leaking at my house and could not schedule a recall technician until the afternoon of the following day. I contacted the gas company who came out and they immediately found the leak on the pipe just above the ground. They advised me that the pool repair company should have fixed that or at least advised me what to do. There is not a person I have dealt with at Leslie's Pool Service who has given me the impression they cared about me as a customer.
