    I found dealing with Leslie's Pool Service very frustrating. They force all customers to use a national 1-800 number to schedule appointments and to make inquiries. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and the service technician was very difficult to deal with. When I contacted them to schedule the work they had given me an estimate for I was told they would contact the store and see if the parts needed to be ordered and call me back.   • leslies poor follow up on repair order

    requested 3 items,motor inop,clean filter,replace timer.7/18 tech arrived and gave estimate for motor.and said would turn in to store.when I called service later they did not no about order and said I should take order to store on 7/29.on 8/6 the morning tech no-showed and at 6pm joel v.installed motor but too late for filter clean.on 8/16tony replaced timer and cleaned filter,did good job.this resulted in third trip charge and once again pool was swimmable after a month of the initial call.   • pool cleaner supplies and water balance

    I went to Leslies on Douglas Road in Roseville asking for assistance in balancing water levels. The seasoned employee took my water sample and very cautiously conducted all of the appropriate tests. I am a social worker, so I am generally a little chatty. This worker did not speak during the testing. He would ask additional questions ie.. " Are you going through a lot of chlorie etc..."     Copy of letter (personal contact info deleted) sent to Leslies: May 14, 2010 TO: Leslie’s Swimming Pool Supplies & Service FROM: Dr. Daniel K. Hatton, Colonel, US Army & Mrs. Gerda M. Hatton SUBJECT: Equipment Installation & Service Still Has Not Been Performed We recently purchased an entire pool pump/motor system (salt) that has cost several thousand dollars.
