Non-existent follow though - Leslies Pools
I needed a security pool inground cover and called Leslie's since the local pool service place in Connecticut seems to charge astronomical prices for any service that they provide. Leslie's pool retail store in North Haven CT instructed me to contact the 1800 general customer service # to have this service initiated. The 1800 people exclaimed that I should call the store and they would help me. (Seems like these people are a bit confused). Well, I contacted the store and was told to "come down" and show them the shape of the pool which I cleary said was rectangular and measured it myself. Okay then, I drove down to the store and provided them with what they needed and guess what? No call back and nothing but radio silence for the past month. Mind you that this cover is valued at approximately $2,300.00 including installation. They lost the sale due to poor follow through and wasted my time. I wish that their corporate office in Arizona would learn of this. Sems like a very poorly managed business. Pathetic.
