Leslies Pool install sand filter using play sand, not filter sand - Pool Service
four years ago, I had Leslies Pool replace my old sand filter. Since then, I've constantly struggled at keeping the pool clean. Just this past week I made the decision to replace the sand filter with a DE filter. When replacing the sand filter, the tech said that whoever installed my sand filter used play sand for kids' sandboxes, not filter sand. Just amazing that a pool supply company could be so cavalier and not even do a proper install. Leslies Pool is a company I would not wish on my worst enemy!
